Northeast Library

After last month’s approval by the Parish Council, LCG is preparing to enter into negotiations with the Holy Rosary Development Corp for the site of the new Northeast Library. In addition, the contract for architectural services, totaling over $1 million, was to be voted upon by the Professional Services Review Committee on September 18.

Parish Council – Board Appointments

On Tuesday, August 5th the Parish Council made two library board appointments – Rena Bradley was reappointed to the seat she stepped into last year, and multimedia specialist/pastor Christopher Holmes was appointed to fill the seat vacated by Robert Judge this month. 

After some digging we uncovered a close relationship between Holmes and former parish councilman (currently the LA Representative for District 43) Josh Carlson. You can read our report on the ties between the two here.

Parish Council – Board Appointments

Applications are now OPEN for the library board seat currently occupied by Erasto Padron. The deadline to submit your resume is September 19th, and the appointment will be made at the Oct 7th Parish Council Meeting.
